Job Summary

Webber is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Civil Foreman to join our team in the Greater Houston Area. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our heavy civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate heavy-duty diesel-powered dump trucks and other construction equipment to haul materials and perform various construction tasks.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and support to construction team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in accordance with company safety policies and procedures, and that all relevant laws and regulations are complied with.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other team members, to ensure that project requirements are met and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field (e.g. construction management, engineering) preferred.
  • Experience: At least three years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required; other relevant certifications (e.g. OSHA, First Aid/CPR) preferred.
Working Conditions

The Heavy Civil Foreman will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, heavy machinery, and physical demands. The ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions is essential.
