About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator to become an integral part of our team at BrightView Landscapes. In this role, you will be tasked with the operation of various heavy machinery, ensuring that all equipment is maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the operation and upkeep of heavy equipment is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate heavy machinery to mitigate risks
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance checks
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
  • Store equipment securely
  • Communicate equipment maintenance requirements to the Foreman
  • Engage in routine maintenance activities
  • Adhere to workplace safety protocols
  • Manage inventory of equipment

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in high-traffic work environments
  • Ability to perform in challenging weather conditions
  • Physical capability to lift and transport heavy materials
  • Willingness to work outdoors for extended durations
