Job Title: Key Account Manager

Blum, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing our largest distribution partner, Richelieu Hardware (RIC), and driving mutual growth for both companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with RIC's senior management, inside sales, marketing, inventory planning, field sales, finance, and supply chain teams.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term plans to drive predictable and sustainable growth for Blum and RIC.
  • Lead category management expertise with RIC, focusing on product assortments, marketing, and business trends in the Blum product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Blum's sales, marketing, product management, finance, and supply chain teams to drive cross-functional execution and delivery against our strategy and tactical initiatives.
  • Communicate with all levels of the Blum organization, business partners, and customers to research marketplace trends and initiate marketing plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related discipline.
  • 8 or more years of experience in managing $100 million dollar accounts, preferably in the hardware goods industry.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical skills, including proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
  • 'Expert' Sales CRM user. Should be able to configure new dashboards/reports.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence.
  • Bilingual in French is an asset.
  • Be abreast with market trends and best industry practices.
  • Be a member of relevant associations and boards like NBMDA.
