Job Summary

Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, work, and participate in their community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to clients in their homes and communities, including assistance with daily living tasks and personal care.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to help clients achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Build relationships with clients, their families, and other community members to create a circle of support.
  • Coordinate and monitor services, including transportation and medical appointments.
  • Encourage clients to participate in community activities and events.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience working in social services, education, or with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
