About the Job

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Holiday Companies in Anchorage, Alaska. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing sales, returns, and exchanges.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out the trash.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Retail sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Basic math skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Working Conditions:

Most work will be indoors, with some outdoor tasks as needed. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. Minimal supervision and periodic direction provided.
