About the Role

As a Client Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing operational support to our financial advisors, ensuring seamless client onboarding, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment will be essential in driving business growth and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate client onboarding, including managing prospect pipelines, preparing new account paperwork, and opening accounts.
  • Gain knowledge of and leverage partnerships with Baird's Corporate Resource Groups to provide the best wealth management solutions to clients.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, handle client inquiries, and advise financial advisors on action taken.
  • Schedule client appointments and manage client relationships through Baird's Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • Assemble and generate materials for client meetings, including paperwork and reports.
  • Ensure business adherence with firm and financial industry regulatory policies, maintaining client confidentiality in all situations.
  • Manage financial advisors' social media presence and maintain client relationship management systems.
  • Organize and coordinate seminars and client events, developing client lists, designing materials, and coordinating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Seek ways to enhance financial advisors' business effectiveness and marketability.
  • Initiate and complete all transactions required to fully service client accounts, including paperwork, correspondence, and client request fulfillment.
What We Look For
  • 2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 7, and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses or willingness to study and obtain within 18 months of hire.
  • Focus on excellent client service, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and ability to learn and navigate Baird's Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
  • Good analytical and critical problem-solving skills, with a commitment to inclusion and diversity.
