About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Patient Care Educator to join our healthcare team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical education and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Key Functions:

  1. Provide individualized education to patients and families based on their unique needs and circumstances.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest research, evidence-based practices, and industry developments.
  4. Develop and implement educational programs to enhance patient engagement and empowerment.
  5. Conduct regular evaluations to assess patient understanding and progress.
  6. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, assessments, and interventions.

Requirements and Benefits:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required; BSN is preferred.
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner is necessary.
  • BLS certification is required per policy guidelines.
  • Paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plan available.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
