About the Role:
Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice company, is seeking a skilled Hospice Liaison to join their team. This role requires a strong background in healthcare sales and business development, with a focus on building relationships with key referral sources.
Responsibilities:
- Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices to generate leads.
- Coordinate patient admissions with the team, including obtaining required documentation.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
- Achieve admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
- Meet short and long-term target account goals.
- Document sales calls and maintain a record of targeted referral sources.
- Attend community events to promote Amedisys.
- Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development/outreach role.
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.
