We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team at Ruths Chris Steak House. As a Steward, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Ensure that all dishes, glasses, and utensils are washed and stored properly
- Restock supplies and equipment as needed
- Assist with trash removal and recycling
- Participate in deep cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchen and dining areas
- Work effectively with other team members to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Minimum 6 months of general labor or restaurant experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and listen attentively to supervisors and other team members
- Ability to understand communication in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
The Steward will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude is essential.
