About the Job

We are a reputable construction company based in Central California seeking a skilled Piping Estimator to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing available projects to determine their feasibility, soliciting subcontractors, negotiating pricing with general contractors, and preparing detailed and accurate estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess project feasibility and determine whether to submit a proposal
  • Solicit subcontractors and prepare scope packages for bidding
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with general contractors
  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to evaluate project performance and recommend improvements
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in underground utilities, wastewater, or stormwater collection systems
  • Ability to prepare detailed and accurate estimates
