Wastewater Estimator

We are a reputable construction company based in Central California seeking a skilled Piping Estimator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing available projects to determine their feasibility, soliciting subcontractors, negotiating pricing and terms with general contractors, and preparing detailed and accurate estimates.

• Assess available projects to determine their potential for generating a large enough margin to warrant submitting a proposal.
• Solicit subcontractors and prepare subcontractor scope packages for bidding.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with general contractors to ensure adherence with company pricing guidelines.
• Complete all cost proposals, ensuring a detailed and accurate estimate.
• Build estimates, including sub/self-perform analysis items.
• Collaborate with the operations and finance group to evaluate project performance and recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals.

• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience with underground utilities, wastewater/stormwater collection systems, or similar projects.
• Ability to prepare detailed, accurate estimates.
