About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Piping Estimator to join our team at a reputable Construction Company in Central CA.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on underground utility projects of various sizes and complexities, including sewer, storm drain, domestic water, recycled water, and irrigation pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess available projects to determine their feasibility and potential for generating a large enough margin to warrant proposal submission.
  • Solicit subcontractors and prepare scope packages for bidding.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with general contractors to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Complete detailed and accurate cost proposals, including sub/self-perform analysis items.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to evaluate project performance and recommend improvements.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (strongly preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in underground utilities, wastewater/stormwater collection systems, or similar projects.
  • Ability to prepare detailed, accurate estimates.
