Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Development Manager to join our team at PPG Paints. As an Account Development Manager, you will be responsible for growing new sales through assigned PPG Paints stores, increasing existing business year-over-year, and developing new accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure outstanding customer service is provided to existing customer accounts by staying up-to-date with current promotions, new products, and customer service best practices to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage accounts, maintain call logs and contact information, and run reports.
  • Collaborate with store managers and employees to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Facilitate customer quotes to achieve margin targets according to PPG pricing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Three (3) years' experience with exceptional customer service skills.
  • CRM software experience preferred, while previous coatings experience is highly valued.
  • Daily travel within an assigned territory; must have a valid driver's license.
