Job Title: Automation Specialist

As an Automation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, installing, and maintaining control systems and automation equipment. Your expertise will ensure the seamless functioning of automated machinery and systems, enabling us to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other automation devices.
  • Develop and troubleshoot PLCs to oversee and regulate machinery and processes.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems and automation equipment to guarantee peak performance.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and malfunctions in control systems and automation equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and execute control system enhancements and adjustments.
  • Document all maintenance and repair tasks, as well as any adjustments made to equipment and updates to software.
  • Train operators and maintenance staff on the correct utilization and upkeep of control systems and automation machinery.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree in electrical or automation technology is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the installation, upkeep, and resolution of issues with control systems and automation machinery.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI configuration.
  • Proficiency in electrical and electronic components, circuits, and systems.
  • Proficiency in understanding and analyzing technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Compensation:

$35 hourly
