Table Games Operations Supervisor

Overview
Under the guidance of the Director of Table Games, this role is accountable for the seamless operation and oversight of casino Table Games during a designated shift. This includes evaluating game distribution and staffing requirements while proposing policy adjustments in line with the Enterprise Rancheria Gaming Commission's Compliance and Regulations. The position also involves assessing the internal security of all table games operations and maintaining vigilance over activities that could impact the efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity of the casino's operations.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Fosters an environment that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain for their gaming entertainment; actively builds and sustains guest relationships while mentoring team members to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Delivers the highest standard of customer service to maximize guest enjoyment and encourage repeat visits.
- Enhances public relations and cultivates a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
- Effectively resolves customer-related issues promptly and amicably.
- Safeguards customers' rewards and credit lines.
- Creates and maintains a vibrant, entertaining, and exhilarating environment.
- Maximizes gaming product revenue by identifying optimal product mix, positioning, and pricing strategies, along with evaluating and testing new gaming offerings.
- Ensures efficient staffing and scheduling of the Table Games department, considering special events, weather conditions, and business trends.
- Maintains a safe, professional, and friendly work environment conducive to high productivity and engagement.
- Actively supports the Hard Rock culture and team philosophy throughout the department and property.
- Serves as a role model for all employees, consistently presenting oneself as a representative of Hard Rock and encouraging team members to do the same.
- Enhances team members' knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, and constructive feedback.
- Demonstrates a commitment to responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Adheres to all departmental and company policies, including Hard Rock's business ethics guidelines.
- Complies with all regulatory standards.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all Hard Rock trade secrets and proprietary information, including business processes, customer lists, marketing strategies, and any other confidential material.
- Ensures prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management of any observed illegal activities or internal ethics violations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis)
- A minimum of ten years of experience in the casino industry, with at least five years in a management capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all table games compliance standards, regulations, and procedures.
- Current employment in an Assistant Shift Manager role or higher is required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc):
- Must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications in accordance with Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
- Prior experience in the Gaming industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Tribal Gaming is preferred.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must successfully complete all required Compliance Testing.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The working conditions are typical of an indoor, climate-controlled office environment. Exposure to casino-related factors, including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, large crowds, and the stress associated with servicing guests in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, is expected. Must be able to stand for an entire shift and navigate throughout the Casino and/or Hotel areas.
