About the Role

The Speech Language Pathologist will assess and describe the communicative behavior of children/students, relating that behavior to what is known as normal development. This role involves coordinating and integrating test results with parents, school staff, and other professionals. Key responsibilities include scheduling and conducting eligibility and IFSP/IEP meetings with parents and staff, planning and implementing effective intervention programs, and reporting progress to and conferencing with parents, teachers, and other concerned individuals.

This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work harmoniously with other employees and deal tactfully with the public. Confidentiality is a top priority for this role.
