Job Title: Housekeeper (Full Time)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at TJ Samson Regional Hospital in Glasgow, KY. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hospital facilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties to maintain the hospital's cleanliness and orderliness. This includes making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty and clean trash containers.
  • Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces.
  • Make up beds and change linens as required.
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
  • Respond to guest queries and requests.
  • Respond to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
  • Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
