We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated professional to become part of our team as a Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac PET Technician. In this capacity, you will be tasked with performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a clinical environment while prioritizing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Management: Oversee the operations of the nuclear medicine and PET/CT laboratory, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.
- Patient Interaction: Engage with patients and healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth diagnostic processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging machinery with precision.
Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Successful completion of an accredited educational program in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine.
- Licensure and Certification: Must hold a valid license as a Radiologic Technician in Nuclear Medicine, with certification from NMTCB or AART. Current BLS certification is also required.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment, demonstrating proficiency in imaging techniques and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Skill Set: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, maintaining professionalism in challenging situations. A compassionate approach towards patients and colleagues is essential. Proficiency in relevant computer applications is required.
