Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
  • Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions.
  • Process prescriptions by using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
  • Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
