Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Facility MaineHealth. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and performing all office-based Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac PET diagnostic procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and proficiency with clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures
  • Operate camera and computer systems for imaging
  • Maintain the nuclear medicine and PET/CT lab, adhering to safety and quality assurance protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiopharmaceuticals, imaging techniques, and computer applications

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiography or Nuclear Medicine
  • Licensed Radiologic Technician in Nuclear Medicine
  • Certification from the NMTCB or AART
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum two years practice or hospital experience
