Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Facility MaineHealth. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and performing all office-based Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac PET diagnostic procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and proficiency with clinical protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures
- Operate camera and computer systems for imaging
- Maintain the nuclear medicine and PET/CT lab, adhering to safety and quality assurance protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest radiopharmaceuticals, imaging techniques, and computer applications
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiography or Nuclear Medicine
- Licensed Radiologic Technician in Nuclear Medicine
- Certification from the NMTCB or AART
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum two years practice or hospital experience
