Knight Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic-Technician to join our team in Atlanta. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy trucks and trailers, as well as performing preventative maintenance on equipment. What We Offer:

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in diesel mechanics and repair
  • Valid driver's license and ability to read and understand repair manuals
  • Strong customer service and computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and work as a team
  • Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results
Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain heavy trucks and trailers
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy equipment
  • Test drive equipment if CDL certified
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
