Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  • Perform welding and cutting tasks as needed.
  • Work with a team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Develop and implement efficient maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maximize fleet reliability.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, preferably with a focus on diesel-powered vehicles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks a plus.
  • Knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Annual Inspector Certification and Brake Inspector Certification.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and ability to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and ability to comply with company policies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to changing weather conditions, extreme temperatures, and physical demands. The associate will be required to work non-traditional business hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel to other operating companies or the corporate office may be required.
