Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Fleet Technician II to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose problems with vehicles and equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Work with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks (preferred)
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift and move heavy equipment. The associate will be required to work non-traditional business hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The associate may be required to travel to other locations as needed.
