Position Overview:
As a Senior Radar Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks:
- Technical Leadership: Act as a key technical authority, guiding a team in engineering research and development focused on cutting-edge weather radar technologies and radio frequency (RF) sensing devices. This includes oversight of advanced radar systems, ensuring their operational integrity and integration within national weather observation frameworks.
- Innovative Development: Spearhead the creation and execution of pioneering techniques and instrumentation for atmospheric sensing. Provide specialized engineering expertise in areas such as real-time software and firmware development, radar data analysis, digital signal processing, and RF antenna design.
- Project Management: Oversee research initiatives and collaborative projects, managing team dynamics and project timelines. Track progress, assess project risks, and communicate effectively with leadership regarding project status and outcomes.
Work Environment:
This role is situated within a prestigious research laboratory dedicated to advancing meteorological science and technology.
Key Requirements:
