Job Description

The Financial Aid Office at the University of Oklahoma is dedicated to simplifying the financial aid process and ensuring students have the necessary information to persist and succeed. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain Financial Aid systems, including Banner, Appworx, Slate, Laserfiche, and DocuSign.
  • Coordinate projects, plan, monitor, and troubleshoot software, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to customers.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures, collaborating with Operations to analyze and implement new operational procedures as needed.
  • Review, analyze, implement, and support third-party products and interfaces, including Slate, Laserfiche, Salesforce, DocuSign, and Federal Student Aid.
  • Diagnose server and operational problems, developing effective solutions and working with IT and customer support to resolve issues.
  • Support day-to-day operations of Banner Financial Aid, including aid processing, communication, reconciliations, and statistical information for reporting agencies.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with university leadership, including vice-presidents, deans, directors, financial officers, and faculty/staff/student groups.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 60 months of experience in analysis and design of Information Systems, Systems Analysis Project Management, or closely related experience.
  • Equivalent/substitution: 48 months of equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
