Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a Crisis Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessment, behavioral health treatment, and intervention to children, adolescents, and their families who are experiencing a psychiatric/behavioral health crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and document client presenting problems, history, symptomology, mental status, diagnosis, and prescribe initial interventions in a timely manner.
  • Assess risk for lethality and engage in thorough safety planning.
  • Collaborate with client/family to assist in developing specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals and objectives for treatment.
  • Employ strategies of intervention that are consistent with empirically supported treatments and consistent with program expectations.

Requirements:

  • Masters or doctoral degree from an accredited university or professional school of Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Appropriate Ohio licensure; independent license preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills and abilities in providing and managing behavioral healthcare to children, adolescents, and families.
