Service Technician Refrigeration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician Refrigeration Specialist to join our team at CoolSys. As a Service Technician Refrigeration Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices.
- Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills.
- Maintain accurate records of work history and provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and optimize mechanical equipment efficiency.
- Work on minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations.
- Completion of a refrigeration technician training program (HVACR) from a technical school or completion of a technical program from a JR College.
- Valid EPA certificate.
- 1-3 years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
- Equivalent passing grade, 80% or better, on Tek Skills Level 3 test.
- Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets a strong plus.
