Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for leading automation robotics use within our Distribution Center, collecting and analyzing data, and recommending solutions to ensure efficient results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Automation Robotics: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of automation robotics systems within the Distribution Center, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, review, and analyze logistic and operational system data, applying professional logistics and transportation engineering principles and practices to identify areas for improvement.
  • Solution Development: Recommend solutions or changes to current or proposed system operations to optimize efficiency, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Project Management: Assist with developing project proposals, presentations, and reports, as well as identifying and delivering on project milestones, communicating with stakeholders, and removing obstacles.
  • Process Improvement: Develop or recommend standard operating procedures, work instructions, and related materials, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Quality and Safety: Assist with related safety, quality, environmental, and other needs as requested or required.
Requirements
  • Automation/Robotics Experience: Proven experience in automation and robotics, particularly in Distribution Center or Warehousing environments.
  • SAP Experience: Familiarity with SAP systems and their application in logistics and transportation engineering.
  • Training Experience: Experience in training and development, with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Lift Maintenance Experience: Knowledge of lift maintenance and repair, with the ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Print and Apply (PANDA) Equipment Experience: Experience with Print and Apply (PANDA) equipment, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Credentials: Professional certification in logistics, transportation engineering, or a related field may be required in some areas.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Characteristics: Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
