Role and Responsibilities
This position will play a crucial role in enhancing the Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory Management logistics operations at Penn Foster Inc. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for ongoing performance enhancements.

Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Logistics and 3PL warehouse personnel.
- Generating weekly inbound Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and forecasting reports.
- Overseeing raw material inventory management.

Additionally, you will address routine technical challenges and respond to standard inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing effective communication methods. You will make decisions within established guidelines, supporting the organization's goals and objectives.
Work is primarily conducted in a warehouse setting, requiring proficiency in operating a computer and viewing video display terminals for significant portions of the workday.

Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a proven ability to develop original analyses.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build consensus.
- Extensive experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems focused on purchasing, inventory control, and procurement management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential. You should possess the ability to influence stakeholders and provide clear clarifications. Additionally, you must be adept at planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects and tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Certification in Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, and 3PL relationship management is advantageous.
