Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team at Menus and Venues as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring that our dining room is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide warm and sincere contact with each customer, consistently delivering exceptional service in compliance with the highest professional performance standards.
  • Product Knowledge: Exercise product knowledge and understanding of POS terminal operation, completing cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with co-workers and supervisors on issues related to product knowledge, POS terminal operation, technical malfunctions, customer questions, complaints, and concerns.
  • Loss Prevention: Maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion, alerting supervisors and Front of House Manager to any non-routine or questionable situations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure the dining room is clean, picking up trash, removing full trash cans, and keeping tray racks neat and organized.
  • Quality Control: Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
  • Adaptability: Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and set a positive example for the shift team.
  • Health and Safety: Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Team Player: Ability to work efficiently independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment under constantly changing conditions.
  • Excellent Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and managers.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions and receive feedback with a positive attitude.
  • Physical Demands: Good motor skills with the ability to work standing 100% of the time, reach, lean, bend, and stoop.
  • Availability: Ability to work regular shifts Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 3:30 with overtime as needed into the evenings and on occasional weekends.
