Job Overview

Got Light is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Manager to join our team. As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our 32,000 square foot facility, ensuring that our inventory is accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our inventory of over 3500 unique items, including tracking and forecasting production supplies and expendables.
  • Conduct quarterly, yearly, and spot inventory hand counts and adjustments to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor and track equipment repairs and maintenance, and schedule as needed.
  • Assist with overall warehouse organization, storage, labeling, and shelving.
  • Ensure equipment is functioning and well-organized, ready to support event productions and the goals of the business.
  • Advise employees on the care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped.
  • Examine records and recommend remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow-moving, and excess/obsolete stock.

Requirements:

  • Theatrical Lighting and/or Production Experience.
  • Warehouse or similar inventory operations experience.
  • Troubleshooting of processes, procedures, equipment, and spatial layouts.
  • Understanding of theater lighting systems: DMX, dimmer control, conventional, and LED lighting.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced high-energy environment.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and team-driven.
  • Effective written, oral, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
  • Electrical repair and soldering skills.
