Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist with the University of Kentucky, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team on a part-time, on-call basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical therapy evaluations and render physical therapy treatments following a physician's order.
  • Treat patients with a variety of diagnoses, including acute care and orthopedic conditions.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Kentucky.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an acute care or orthopedic setting.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice and current trends in physical therapy.
