Job Summary:This position is designed to expose student interns to all facets of specialty pharmacy practice. Interns will rotate through specialty operations, multiple disease state specific call centers, clinics, and the infusion center. Additionally, there will be opportunities to participate in clinical research projects and develop policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:• Rotate through specialty operations, call centers, clinics, and infusion center
• Participate in clinical research projects
• Develop policies and procedures
Requirements:• Registered with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist Intern
• High School plus Admitted to a College of Pharmacy
• Attention to detail, knowledge of ambulatory retail pharmacy operations, and ability to prioritize
Preferred Qualifications:• Retail Ambulatory experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:This position is located in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
