Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Services Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for coordinating the application, approval, and installation of business services products and services to our commercial customers. Your expertise will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with our clients and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all business services products, including ACH Origination, Remote Deposit, Merchant Services, Commercial Credit Card, Positive Pay, Wire Manager, and Lock Box.
- Provide exceptional customer service by accurately and efficiently assisting customers with questions and product inquiries.
- Process temporary limit changes for ACH, RDC, and Credit Card services while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Assist with customer outreach during system downtime or decisioning deadlines.
- Identify and escalate system problems or errors when necessary.
- Ensure customer interactions and documentation comply with bank policy and federal regulations.
- Handle direct calls from commercial business customers and branches regarding supported programs.
- May assist commercial lenders in promoting business services product benefits and providing consultation to customers and prospects on account structures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Annual BSA and bank-related training through BAI.
- Previous experience interacting with customers face-to-face and by phone.
- Strong banking experience required.
- Relevant computer skills.
- Expert knowledge of MCB Electronic Banking product setup and capabilities.
- Ability to work with detailed information in an accurate, timely, and confidential manner.
- Use critical/analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot client issues and inquiries.
- High level of interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional manner.
The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional periods of high activity. Employees are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
