Position Overview
The Director of Business Development role presents a significant opportunity for the right individual to contribute to the company's growth strategy. The selected candidate will be tasked with identifying and cultivating new strategic business relationships for Revenew's core contingency services. This role encompasses business and relationship development aimed at driving revenue growth. In alignment with the company's values, this position is rewarded based on financial performance rather than merely effort.
The Director of Business Development will report to the Global Vice President of Business Development and will collaborate closely with the CEO and COO to enhance client relationship development, customer service, and revenue generation.
Success in this role requires a robust network of established relationships within the relevant industry sector, particularly with organizations generating over $3 billion in revenue. While connections at any executive level are advantageous, the primary focus should be on relationships within Supply Chain leadership, Procurement, CFO, Controller roles, and Internal Audit.
The company aims to leverage its impressive client testimonials and long-standing relationships in the Utility and Energy sectors to expand its core services into additional markets.
This Business Development position offers an exceptional income potential. A competitive starting salary will be provided to facilitate onboarding and initial revenue generation within the first year. Subsequently, the role includes a substantial base salary complemented by a generous commission structure based on revenue achievement, with no cap on earnings. Successful Business Development Executives at Revenew have historically earned over $500,000 annually, with unlimited earning potential.
In addition to the financial compensation, the Business Development Executive will collaborate with a highly skilled team of professionals. Revenew is committed to hiring exceptional personnel who prioritize outstanding customer service and satisfaction. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's financial performance within a small company environment. There may also be potential for equity involvement in the future, with high performance leading to management opportunities if desired.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for:
- Leading the relationship development process within the candidate's industry sector – Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Automotive, Mining, and Industrial Manufacturing.

- Closing deals, facilitating contract signings, and managing the implementation and ongoing coordination of client agreements.
- Assisting Revenew staff in project initiation, planning, due diligence, and problem-solving as needed.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with key client stakeholders and decision-makers, employing appropriate engagement strategies.
- Contributing to the creation of new or enhanced marketing and presentation materials.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for the Business Development role will possess:
- A well-established network of executive-level contacts within potential client organizations in the relevant industry sector, typically with annual revenues exceeding $3 billion.
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, a sense of urgency, and a strong commitment to customer service in pursuing new accounts.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is preferred.

- Attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Proven consultative selling skills.
- The ability to act as a trusted advisor to client decision-makers and influencers.
- A willingness to travel 40-60% of the time.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present and engage with clients to develop business opportunities and maintain ongoing relationships. Strong customer relation skills are essential, particularly in managing interactions between clients' commercial and technical teams.
