Job Summary

Under the direction of the Relative Home Assessment Services (RHAS) and Relative Support Services (RSS) Program Director, the RHAS/RSS Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the RHAS/RSS team at Hamburger Home Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet callers and visitors to the office, operate the telephone, and provide information as needed.
  • Database Management: Maintain departmental databases, create and update spreadsheets, and assist with data entry.
  • Office Administration: Organize and maintain office files, assist with ordering supplies, and complete weekly and monthly invoices.
  • Referral Coordination: Assist with incoming and outgoing referrals, schedule meetings and appointments as directed by the Director of RHAS/RSS.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to the development of new procedures and processes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Experience as a customer service representative or administrative assistant, preferably in a social services agency.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication skills, computer literacy, and proficiency with common software.
  • Certifications: Valid CA driver's license, tuberculosis clearance, Department of Justice/Fingerprint clearance, satisfactory completion of health screening, and proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States.
Work Environment

The RHAS/RSS Administrative Assistant will work in a fast-paced office environment, frequently required to sit and use their fingers to manipulate a keyboard or writing instrument. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, bend, and lift objects heavier than twenty pounds.
