Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Sterile Processing Technician Instructor to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for providing effective student instruction to meet course objectives for the Sterile Processing Technician certificate course.

Responsibilities:
  • Teaching: Provide academic instruction to students in the Sterile Processing Technician certificate course.
  • Course Planning: Collaborate with the Program Director and/or Course Coordinator to develop clear learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Assessment: Systematically assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to foster professional development.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrate interpersonal and team skills, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of a terminal degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in teaching at the post-secondary level.
  • License/Certifications: Where appropriate, Nebraska licensure and national certifications are required.
