We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Compounding Technician to join our team at Nebraska Medicine's West Omaha Clinic. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in upholding our promise of delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform sterile compounding according to policy and regulations, including USP 797 and USP 800.
- Maintain competency in the use of all equipment and programs related to sterile compounding.
- Participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including ordering, receiving, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and software issues related to compounding.
- Collaborate with the team to triage and respond to all compounding needs in a timely manner.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Minimum of three months tenure in Nebraska Medicine's inpatient pharmacy department or demonstrated experience in sterile compounding.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Registered as a pharmacy technician with the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification within 12 months of licensed date.
