Position Overview:

The Office of Undergraduate Medical Education is responsible for overseeing the undergraduate medical education curriculum, ensuring the effective organization of course content, and fostering innovative methodologies in learning, teaching, and assessment.

Our educational framework merges essential scientific principles with clinical practice while also considering the humanistic dimensions of medicine, including ethical, legal, and societal factors.

The Administrative Coordinator for the Associate Dean plays a pivotal role in supporting the Office of Undergraduate Medical Education by delivering comprehensive administrative assistance to the Associate Dean and the UME leadership team.

This role encompasses a variety of administrative responsibilities, including:

  • Managing office operations and maintaining schedules
  • Coordinating meetings and documenting minutes
  • Planning and organizing events
  • Arranging travel and processing reimbursements
  • Updating documents and systems, including policies and procedures
  • Handling special projects as assigned
Essential Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of two years of relevant administrative experience is required. Proficiency in MS Outlook, SharePoint/OneDrive, Excel, Adobe Pro, and Teams is essential.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in an academic setting is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
