Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Staff
    • Coordinate daily staff assignments to ensure effective service delivery
    • Implement accountability systems to monitor staff outputs and behaviors
  • Develop Staff
    • Attend continuing education and professional development trainings to enhance skills and knowledge
    • Train and coach staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to provide high-quality services
  • Build and Maintain Relationships
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and outside professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication
  • Administrative Duties
    • Complete administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the school
Requirements
  • Physical and Sensory Requirements
    • Ability to perform non-violent crisis intervention techniques, including verbal and physical redirection and guidance of potentially physically aggressive students
    • Ability to react quickly and be sufficiently mobile to redirect students who may be a risk to themselves or others
    • Ability to physically assist with evacuating students during emergency situations
  • Certifications and Training
    • Must earn and maintain full certification(s) in assigned crisis management programs
