Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Staff
- Coordinate daily staff assignments to ensure effective service delivery
- Implement accountability systems to monitor staff outputs and behaviors
- Develop Staff
- Attend continuing education and professional development trainings to enhance skills and knowledge
- Train and coach staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to provide high-quality services
- Build and Maintain Relationships
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and outside professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication
- Administrative Duties
- Complete administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the school
- Physical and Sensory Requirements
- Ability to perform non-violent crisis intervention techniques, including verbal and physical redirection and guidance of potentially physically aggressive students
- Ability to react quickly and be sufficiently mobile to redirect students who may be a risk to themselves or others
- Ability to physically assist with evacuating students during emergency situations
- Certifications and Training
- Must earn and maintain full certification(s) in assigned crisis management programs
