We are seeking a skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at MelroseWakefield Hospital. As a Clinical Educator, you will provide leadership and expertise in clinical practice, education, and program development to promote clinical excellence in our Emergency and Critical Care departments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs to improve patient outcomes and nursing practices
- Collaborate with management and leadership to develop criteria for patient care and evaluate nursing interventions
- Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making to influence the development and implementation of patient, unit, department, and organizational goals
- Provide educational opportunities that benefit nurses at all stages of their career
- Deliver competence-based programs for nursing staff with a focus on improvement of skills and retention of knowledge
- Massachusetts RN Licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, MSN preferred
- Recent experience in hospital education and training preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
