As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
You will adhere to policies, procedures, and standards of practice as established by MelroseWakefield Healthcare.
You will support the flow of care on the unit and perform unit secretary duties as assigned.
This role is specifically a Weekend Track position.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent; ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
- Successful completion of a certified patient care/clinical associate/certified nursing assistant or equivalent course.
- Current BCLS required.
- 2-4 years of experience in healthcare and nursing services experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with detailed, confidential material, and computer experience required.
