Job Description

Pearson Education Services is committed to delivering top-quality solutions to Construction students and faculty. As the world's leading learning company, we have an exciting sales opportunity available within our NCCER team for the Southwest territory.

Role Overview

Pearson's Executive Directors manage a multi-channel focus including post-secondary, CTE, associations, state and federal government, business, and industry. EDs are consultative sales professionals driving a programmatic approach to address recruitment, retention, placement, and partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Meet/exceed performance goals expressed as % growth.
  • Employ effective selling techniques including pre-call planning, effective opening, and productive questioning strategies that lead to a close.
  • Demonstrate superb organizational and follow-up abilities.
  • Manage and grow a multi-million-dollar territory comprised of post-secondary, CTE, associations, state and federal government, business, and industry clients.
  • Maintain expert product knowledge around Pearson technologies, the educational industry, and factors influencing the market environment; use promotional materials to support marketing messaging through email and social media.
  • Exhibit strong presentational skills.
  • Demonstrate teamwork through sharing best practices and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement company initiatives into sales territory - Maintain positive relations with clients, Pearson Partners, and Pearson Authors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of outstanding sales experience in Education/EdTech or related industry.
  • Proven success in consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • High aptitude and enthusiasm for the end-to-end sales process.
  • Experience in managing a variety of learning solutions across a diverse portfolio.
  • Proven experience networking with and influencing decision-makers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communicator.
  • Proficiency with Office tools, mobile technologies, computer applications, and business systems.
