Overview:

We're looking for a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at KJ's Market. As a Meat Cutter, you'll play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring our meat department is always stocked with fresh, high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, friendly, and attentive to guests.
  • Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to Floco Foods standards.
  • Price, stock, and rotate frozen and prepared meats and fresh meat case.
  • Meet special customer requests, such as special cuts or slicing.
  • Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, sales, and prep areas.
  • Ensure high-quality, fresh, and properly dated products are available for sale.
  • Communicate temperature failures to supervisors.
  • Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
  • Assist with product receiving and storage.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. constantly.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Effective communication and guest service skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Previous meat cutting experience.
  • Meat cutting skill test qualifications.
