About the Role

The Maintenance Production Manager is a critical position at Big Tree, Inc. that plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining long-term business relationships with customers. This position is responsible for driving retention, production, and extra sales, while also overseeing the mobilization of landscape maintenance crews, managing budgeted property hours, and engaging with property managers as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Utilize strong time management and organizational skills to oversee crews, create schedules, and monitor the quality of work crews are providing customers.
  • Crew Management: Management of multiple landscape maintenance crews, including assigning and scheduling tasks and routes for your production team.
  • Client Communication: Ensure that client expectations are understood and communicated to your crews, and that customer service expectations and quality are met.
  • Retention and Growth: Maximize retention of current accounts and drive extra sales through consistent communication with customers, including visiting sites, sending emails, and communicating by telephone.
  • Safety and Training: Drive a safety culture across your crews through continuous training and leading by example, and provide hands-on training for new and tenured team members.
  • Team Development: Counsel and develop members within your production team, interview, select, and help onboard new team members, and ensure each new team member has a successful onboarding experience.
  • Operational Efficiency: Formulate suggestions on how to make optimal use of the resources of the organization and continuously seek operational efficiencies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the commercial landscaping industry and 2 years of crew management experience.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English and Spanish, with competent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Skills and Abilities: Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, a dedication to learning and improving company standards, procedures, and goals, and exercises good judgment and is accountable.
  • Education and Certifications: Possess pertinent physical requirements commensurate with the job and proficient with the Microsoft Office.
  • Driver's License: Valid Florida Driver's License and a safe driving record.
