Physician - Internal Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at Community Health Center of Snohomish County. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers and support staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic medical services to patients, making sound medical assessments and treatment plans.
- Obtain complete medical histories and physical data from patients, interpreting and integrating data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed, interviewing and advising patients regarding health and illness prevention.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, promoting medical care through direct patient care and education.
- Identify special needs of patients and work with staff to address those needs, participating in Quality Improvement and Utilization Management programs and activities.
- Document encounters in an accurate and timely manner, providing therapeutic intervention following accepted guidelines or protocols.
- Coordinate delivery of care with clinical staff to ensure quality of care is met, adhering to attendance standards for daily operations and/or continuity of patient care.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or a related field.
- Board eligible/Board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) in Internal Medicine.
- Physician license (MD/DO) with the State of Washington, DEA controlled substances registration, and hospital privileges.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification, successful completion of CHC's credentialing and privileging review upon hire and recredentialing as appropriate.
- Experience in a multiple provider medical practice, working with low-income, multi-ethnic populations.
- CPT-4 coding experience, ICD-10 coding experience, and healthcare information systems experience.
- Education and training in specialized care such as family practice, pediatrics, or obstetrics and prenatal care.
