Child Welfare Case Manager

Job Summary:

One Hope United is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Welfare Case Manager to join our team. As a Case Manager, you will work closely with children, birth families, foster families, and primary caregivers to provide direct case management services and ensure the well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, planning, linkage, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, and advocacy to children, families, and caregivers.
  • Develop and implement case plans that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals, community agencies, and support systems to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Attend court hearings, prepare and file court documents, and intervene in crisis situations.
  • Meet with families in their homes, including evenings, nights, and weekends, in potentially high-risk neighborhoods.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Behavioral Sciences, Community Development, or Social Policy.
  • State of Florida Child Welfare Certification (CWCM) preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to obtain CWCM certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to drive daily for work-related purposes.
  • Availability to include evenings, weekends, and on-call.
