Our dedicated team plays a crucial role in combating the opioid crisis.Your Role as an Addiction Recovery Counselor:
The Addiction Recovery Counselor is vital to our patients' healing and recovery journey from opioid use disorder.
These counselors deliver compassionate, high-quality care through diverse methods, including both individual and group therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate and high-quality guidance in individual and group therapy sessions.
Plan, manage, facilitate, and document patient recovery processes.
Co-facilitate assigned group or family therapy sessions as necessary.
Ensure timely and clear documentation of patient care, treatment, and incidents.
Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient assigned.
Conduct initial assessments and follow-up evaluations.
Assess patient needs and determine if referrals to additional programs or facilities are required.
May coordinate aftercare plans for assigned patients.
Provide crisis intervention to patients as needed.
Perform case management duties for patients, ensuring personalized quality care.
Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients when necessary.
Qualifications:
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a social or health services discipline
Degree must be from an accredited institution.
Prior experience and knowledge in addiction recovery and/or MAT (medication-assisted treatment) settings
Licenses/Certifications:
Not mandatory; position applicable to the following: ADC, AADC, PLC, LPC, BSW, MSW
