Bilingual Substance Abuse Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing education and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs to educate individuals about substance abuse and its effects.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support participants in their recovery journey.
- Collaborate with case managers to determine the best course of treatment for each participant.
- Facilitate psycho-educational and behavior modification groups to promote positive change.
- Document participant progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Two years of professional experience providing drug and alcohol counseling services in a social work or criminal justice setting.
- A Bachelor's Degree with 18 credits in behavioral science, or a Master's Degree with major coursework in addictions science, psychology, or social work.
- Certification by the Pennsylvania Certification Board as a Certified Addiction Counselor, or equivalent experience and training.
