Join Our Team as a Substance Use Counselor

At Groups Recover Together, we're dedicated to providing comprehensive outpatient treatment for opioid addiction. Our care model includes medication, weekly group therapy, and care navigation, all designed to help individuals achieve sustained recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the treatment team and coordinate decisions about member treatment.
  • Manage a schedule and caseload that supports the needs of the office and region.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver a holistic clinical model.
  • Lead 2-3 group therapy sessions per week, building recovery skills and fostering community.
  • Document members' progress using outcome measures and client feedback.
  • Engage in community relations activities, promoting Groups and its mission.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Active behavioral health licensure in Virginia or ability to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states.
  • Minimum two years' experience leading groups in a SUD setting.
  • High comfort level with technology, including EMR, Telehealth software, and Google products.
  • Compassion, collaboration, and commitment to quality care.
